We would like to line the practice field next Saturday, January 21st, at 1:00 pm and could use volunteers to:- set lines (stakes and string to guide the painters)
- painters to push paint strippers along the stringed lines
- fill in any holes/ruts in the field with dirt to keep our players from twisting their ankles
We have all the equipment for line painting, but we could use any shovels/rakes that you could bring. We could also use someone who has a pickup truck to bring the two goals from Manual Stadium over to the practice field.
No previous experience is required! Just a willingness to get the field ready for our girls.
The practice field is on the west side of Cochran Elementary school (near Manual) at 500 West Gaulbert Avenue, but the parking lot is right off of Lee street just west of 5th street.
The forecast for the 21st is currently clear and near 50 degrees, but if that changes our backup will be Sunday the 22nd at 1:00 pm.
